The Pure-Pone Synthesizer from TubeOhm is a free virtual analog synthesizer. Basically it's a scaled down version of their professional Pure-Pten synth, with the only limitation being that this free edition only has one voice. But the quality of sound is still good! You can use it for as long as you like, save your songs and make your own presets. Pure-Pone features 3 oscillators, 2 modulation matrices, a multi mode Filter, FM, sync, ring-modulation, and a delay / chorus unit. On top of this it comes with 128 high quality presets.

ARP Odyssey emulation

The Odsay synth plugin by Elektrostudio is a free VST emulation of the ARP Odyssey synthesizer that first saw the light of day in 1972. Odsay is a two-oscillator virtual analog synth featuring subtractive synthesis. The VST features sawtooth, square, and pulse waveforms which can be modulated by: LFO or ADSR-envelope, white/pink noise, oscillator-sync modulated by ADSR, an LFO or sample-and-hold. U-He Tyrell N6 is a freeware VST synth made in a collaboration between Urs Heckmann (U-He), and the readers of the German online magazine Amazona.de. The plugin is based on a design similar to Roland's classic Juno 60, and it features 2 oscillators, a sub-oscillator, a noise generator, a ring modulator, 2 LFOs, 2 ADSR-envelopes and a modulation matrix. On top of this, the Tyrell N6 VST synth comes fully loaded with more than 500 presets!
